AP Irish Blackcurrant Preserve

2 tbsp Olive Oil

Handful Fresh Basil Leaves


1. Take 8 slices of bread and spread with slices from 2 brie, top with a couple of basil leaves, drizzle of blackcurrant preserve, and top with another slice of bread.

2. Heat olive oil in large skillet pan or alternatively drizzle on outer side of bread slices and use a sandwich press.

3. If using skillet, place sandwich in pan and press down with spatula. When one side browned, flip over and press again.

4. Once browned on both sides and brie is melted, serve immediately.
